About me

I’m a psychotherapist-turned-coach, a tarot reader, a facilitator, a dancer, a dreamer, an abolitionist, a water enthusiast, a pop culture fan, a movement nerd, a shower-based vocalist, a low-key foodie, an animal lover, and a passionate feminist human.

I love relationships, especially with my fellow community-focused change-makers out there. You’ve got limited time and resources, and deserve only the best when it comes to your growth and healing. As a coach, I focus on creating spaces based in listening, sharing, validating the reality of trauma and oppression, amplifying intuitive knowledge, and developing authentic connection…in other words, spaces that foster transformative change.

I operate from a model of trust.

You’re coming to me because you’ve probably devoted an enormous amount of time and energy to healing, and you’re willing to partner with me - to risk extreme vulnerability - for guidance and direction. I am entirely honored by this leap of faith, and I’ll show my gratitude by trusting the stories you share, and using the knowledge I’ve gained to encourage and empower your process.

I’m also real about who I am. I laugh a lot, I curse occasionally, and I cry sometimes. I talk with my hands and regularly pull my earbuds out. I spill coffee on myself, not infrequently. You’ll meet my plants and see and hear my cat (she’s a talker). You may not get my whole life story (you’re paying me, after all), but you won’t have to wonder about what I believe or what I’m thinking. And you can rely on my unconditional support of you.

My philosophy is compassionate, embodied, and functional.

I’m not here to tell anyone what’s wrong with them. I’m here to understand how you define the problems you’re experiencing - if it’s interfering with your life and functioning then it’s a problem, and if it’s not, it’s not.

I believe in listening and developing relationships with my clients to learn more about how they experience their body, brain, and environment. After all, the brain is just one of many sources of knowledge we can tap into. I want to draw from the wisdom of all parts of you and in the full context of your life.

I’m interested in what works, and in being flexible and dynamic in my approach.

I attune myself to each client individually. I work with you uncover the roots of dis-ease: the harm, loss, trauma, and oppression that you have experienced. I help validate, normalize, and build road-maps for healing pathways that prioritize self-knowledge and self-compassion.

My sessions are semi-structured in this way. I know, I know…you’re coming to me for structure, right? The thing is, I’ve found not everything works for everyone. There are coaches and healers out there that do the same things and offer the same tools in a universal format, and they are great at what they do. Heck, sometimes I refer to their stuff. Me? I’m great at relationships and process. I don’t offer one-size-fits-all anything, and I do best in live sessions rather than pre-packaged materials. I committed to values over manuals, and I let the structure reveal itself through our work.

If you want unyielding structure and grades on your homework, there are many amazing programs and workbooks for [fill-in-the-blank] issues. If you want something that is designed for you specifically, and the reality of your life, that’s where I come in.

When you work with me, you’ll develop insight into the roots of your emotional and spiritual pain.

You’ll see how your personal and cultural history is an important piece of the healing puzzle. You’ll learn new practices to help you roll with the tides of struggle - practices that actually work for you. You’ll shift your thinking and actions in significant and lasting ways. Most importantly, though, you’ll build trust with your body, and you’ll deepen your relationship to your own self.
