Are you a change-maker who’s ready to commit to your own change process?

I work with creatives, organizers, dreamers, helpers, healers, and passion-seekers to make real, lasting transformation for themselves and their relationships.

My Coaching Method

My coaching practice is all about addressing the issues that are keeping you stuck in old habits, intense emotions, and unhelpful thought patterns…and helping you to break free.

Embodied Listening

I’m committed to listening to all parts of what you’re sharing, including the language of your body, as well as being honest with you about what I’m sensing, feeling, and thinking.

Informed Feedback

I don’t read from scripts or recite from workbooks. I have a treasure chest of tools that we can use, but when I offer them, it’s because I believe it will work for you and your context.

Compassionate Communication

I’m invested in showing you compassion and avoiding shame at all costs. I want you to trust that I care about you, no matter what.

Life is not easy, y’all. Life is full of moments of loss and suffering and trauma. The world offers us endless opportunities to become overwhelmed by fear and shame. Plus we’ve got all kinds of relational, intergenerational, and cultural baggage to carry, and those burdens pile up faster than we can keep up with sometimes. Not to mention, of course, the deeply ingrained biological impulses that compel us to remember all of the terrible things that ever happened - if not in the mind, then definitely in the body.

And healing is not easy, either. There is no magic pill. I can’t change the past, predict the future, or protect you from harm. Growth and healing work are often messy, painful, and resemble more of a spiral than a straight line (Jeremy Bearimy, anyone?).

Yet,

we are not chained to our histories or our biology.

Every experience can be reframed, every pattern can be shifted, every cycle can be broken.

Coaching with me is a practice in courage. I ask you to dive deep and to feel big and to speak the unspeakable. I encourage discomfort in our process, because it’s only in discomfort that we commit to change. And I don’t under-sell you about the dedication required to commit to new practices.

I’m also a big softie. I don’t do tough love (as if suffering through life isn’t tough enough). Together we create measurable goals and draw up simple and realistic road maps for the journey. I break everything down into simple parts and set you up for success with each “new” thing. When you’re ready, I’ll hold your [virtual] hand, walk with you at the speed of trust, and provide you with all the tools and nurturing you need to make it through. I see myself as your guide, your sounding board, your cheerleader, your resource, and your advocate. And I will encourage you every step of the way.

Coaching Options

  • Ongoing Coaching Sessions

This is the journey, right here. Booked in live (phone or video) 50-minute intervals, on the regular, this option is for folks who are ready to dive in to the work. Fees for ongoing sessions start at $150, with sliding scale tiered rates available to accommodate financial hardship.

Schedule a free 20-minute phone/video consultation call with me to figure out if ongoing coaching is the right fit for you, and talk through the details.

  • Clarity Session

Feel certain this is exactly what you’re looking for? Want extra time for a deeper dive? Want answers now, and don’t want to commit to meeting regularly? You want a clarity session. 90 minutes of uninterrupted time with me, no consultation call required, and no further commitments.

I weave the science of neurobiology and trauma with radical compassion, following your needs and utilizing transparency to develop a supportive and mutual relationship. That means you get to learn about me, too, so that you can know who I am and where I come from.

I root my philosophy in justice and abolitionist visions. In other words, I believe systems and structures impact our relationships to ourselves and to others, and I believe you are the expert on your own life and on what you need in order to achieve personal freedom.

While we primarily use language and talking in our sessions, we also integrate meditation, movement, and other nonverbal expressive practices as I offer, and as you desire.

My professional experience has taught me something very important: oftentimes, our normal responses to awful experiences are coded as “abnormal,” and the labeling of illness can undermine self-trust and self-compassion…the very ingredients that foster sustainable growth. I believe everyone has the knowledge and ability to overcome even the most disempowering problems, and I’m here to help you re-connect to those innately healing parts of yourself, to find your power, and to make lasting change.
